Adoption Fees/Shipping Costs

Our adoptions include a five-year health guarantee.  We are happy to send you a copy of our adoption agreement.

Our adoption fees average due to the economic issues is reduced to six hundred dollars.  We accept VISA/MC.

Shipping airfare is usually via Delta and generally would be just under two hundred, plus a forty dollar travel carrier unless you ship one to us. Shipping has been easy, as our Regional Southwest (RSW) terminal is International. It is about 40 minutes from Ja Ja. Carriers are inexpensive and you may have your choice when you travel with your kitten on board as hand-carried baggage... soft carrier, for example. Your kitten even has its own ticket.

There is a required Interstate Health Certificate.  We are happy to have your kitten microchipped at your request, and at a nominal cost.

On occasion Ja Ja has some retired Queens for adoption and others retired from the breeding program. A three-to-five year old champion kitty has proven its health and personality. There are many advantages to adopting an adolescent or an adult.

Visiting Ja Ja

We love having visitors and we are very easy to locate in Cape Coral, just across the Caloosahatchee River adjacent to Fort Myers.

Diet

We feed Life Abundance --  www.healthypetnet.com/jaja.  It is a special diet for kittens and kitties formulated by Dr. Jane Bicks.  We also feed a wet food, Instinctive Choice, a premium canned cat food -- www.healthypetnet.com/jaja  and the kittens/kitties are given their (vitamins) Advanced Daily Supplements with phytonutrient power for cats.  Dr. Bicks is a highly respected/nationally recognized holistic veterinarian.   Life Abundance is a natural diet (no hormone or steroids, no by-products, no corn/wheat and no dyes or chemical preservatives). What is wonderful is that the food is shipped right to your door. It is freshly made to order, and is delivered the next day. I am unaware of a better diet for cats. We believe that diet along with plenty of fresh air makes a difference!

About Siberians

Siberians are much like RagaMuffins and Maine Coons... and they are believed to be hypoallergenic. A rare breed, they are Russian forest kitties and Russia's national cat. Siberians are beautiful, loving, loyal, your shadow, intelligent, trainable, 'flyers,' and 'chirpers.'  They are slow maturing kitties. Sibs love to butt heads and they come up to you and smell (literally sniff) you. They come when you call their name. Sibs are very much like RagaMuffins, requiring little grooming, but they love to be brushed and combed.

Grooming

The Siberians and RagaMuffins are self-groomers ... they are low maintenance because they rarely have tangles or mats and are always preening themselves. We recommend that a kitty go to the groomer every couple of months or that you learn to bathe your kitty yourself. In my booklet of information and notes, I give detailed instructions on how to bathe your kitty.  We comb our kittens and kitties but they do like to be brushed. Maintaining their lovely rabbity, ermine-like coat is easy. They love ribbons and will wear cloth neck triangles (cowboy/cowgirl scarves).
